Youth Company Audition FAQ
We understand families often have questions about the audition and company experience. Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions.

Dancers should wear a solid-colored leotard, pink tights, and ballet slippers. Hair should be secured neatly away from the face.

Pointe work is not required for all audition levels. Dancers who currently train en pointe may be evaluated as part of the audition.

Dancers only need to attend one audition date. Families may choose the date that best fits their schedule.

If your dancer is unable to attend one of the scheduled audition dates, please contact us to discuss alternative options.
When possible, we may be able to accommodate attendance in a different audition group or arrange an alternate evaluation time.

Audition results will typically be communicated within one week following the final audition date.

Acceptance into Youth Company is an invitation to join the program. Families will receive detailed information before confirming enrollment.

The audition fee is non-refundable. If a dancer is accepted and enrolls in Youth Company, the fee will be credited toward Company tuition.

Company dancers are expected to attend scheduled rehearsals, required classes, and performances throughout the season.

Yes. Many company dancers balance school and extracurricular activities. Families should be prepared to prioritize rehearsals and performance commitments as the season progresses.
