Youth Company Auditions
2026-2027 Season
Dedicated dancers are invited to audition for En Pointe Performing Arts Youth Company - a focused training and performance program designed to nurture growth, discipline and artistry.
Auditions are open to dancers of varying experience levels and are designed to assess placement within our Youth Company program.
About En Pointe Youth Company
En Pointe Youth Company offers motivated dancers opportunities to grow through structured training, performance experiences and collaborative artistry.
Company dancers receive additional coaching, rehearsal time, and performance opportunities designed to support technical development and artistic confidence.
Program Overview
Rehearsals: 1 weekday and alternating Saturdays
Competitions: 2 per season
Performances: Included as part of the season
Season Length: September – early-June

What to Expect at the Audition
Dancers will participate in a structured class setting so we can evaluate technique, coordination, and overall readiness.
Ballet technique class
Center work and across-the-floor combinations
Short contemporary phrase
Supportive and professional environment
Important Dates
Audition Dates: Sat, May 23rd and Sun, May 24th
Results sent by: Sat, June 6th
Company Intensive: August 2026 (one week only)

What to Wear to Auditions
Leotard and tights
Skirt optional for the Ballet segment, Shorts optional for Contemporary segment
Ballet Shoes and/or Turners or Jazz shoes
Hair in bun
No jewelry
After the Audition
Families will receive placement results via email by June 6th, 2026.
Placement is based on technical readiness, experience, and overall class fit to ensure each dancer is set up for success.
Additional details regarding registration, schedule, and next steps will be included.
Commitment
Youth Company dancers are expected to attend weekly classes and scheduled rehearsals. Consistency and dedication are essential to support both individual and group growth.
